Jazz Up Your Garden

I know summer is still a long way off but this is just to give you an idea how easy it is to create your own garden decors.  For this project, you will be creating a planter for vines just right for your porch.

So, first thing’s first, you have to wait for summer to come before using the resulting item outside.  But you can already create one today if you are looking to do something productive.   You will need yellow latex paint.  Yellow because it looks summer-y.  Also, it would be more appealing if you use two shades of yellow for that appealing shadow effect.  You would also need 16-ounce plastic measuring cup, two plastic mixing buckets two wooden tub planters, paintbrushes (of course) potting soil, six 6-foot bamboos sticks and three 3-4 foot sticks for the trellis, rope, raffia, and of course (again) summer vines.

Also, you will need some wooden boards for the backing. It is up to you how to design the boards.  Paint these boards in alternating color and let it dry.  Then, take the tub planters and fill it with potting soil. Once done, you can create the trellis by using the bamboo sticks. Use the shorter sticks to secure the longer sticks together. You can tie them up with rope too. Once done, wait for summer, take a table out in the garden, put the planters on top of the table and the backing boards at the back and plant fast growing summer vines.

That’s it, as simple project which can make your porch look more beautiful.
